New version photographed with my Sony NEX 7! Much better now. This strange work started off with a dream in 1980-then a sketch book drawing and many years later became a painting in 1999. This is a sort of autobiographical painting of my time with the "Fellowship Of Friends".

Hi Jeanne Marie, 1st question- sort of but not-kind of an imaginary headdress like Batman's cowl. Like the description says, woke up and drew the image in a sketchbook and added some watercolour as notes. Years later started the painting stopped halfway then finished it a few years later. It is about the fourth way and is a touch auto biographical, note Chinese characters, and the Arabic inscription and my treatment of the enneagram. Not sure if you know much about these gentlemen or what H Si 12 means. Does this help?
