I painted this with Michael in the deep recesses of a quarry during an afternoon in 1975. Gave it to my Mother and found it in 2007 in a chicken coop covered in bird shit, I was not happy so I rescued and restored it then photographed it with my Sony NEX 7. Looks great now!
He passed away in 2014 and I was asked to remove his name to make his work more "sale-able".
I presently reside in Yaroomba near the town of Coolum Beach on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. I have been consistently producing art work for a good portion of my life. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and an Art Education Certificate from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. I was born and raised in the city of Chicago, but since 1996 I live and work in Australia . My artistic influences are pretty eclectic. I am thoroughly steeped in the history of western art from ancient to modern and I have explored thoroughly the art of Islam, ancient Greek, Roman, Sumerian and Egyptian art as well.
